As Autumn settles in, we have some exciting things happening at Celestial Esscents beginning with SPIRITUAL LIBERATION on Saturday, September 26th. The "Law of Attraction" focuses on holding your thoughts upon what you want to manifest into your life. The "Power of Now" focuses on holding your thoughts onto what is going on now. Which one should we follow? Where do Spiritual lessons fall into all of this? What about Agreements? How do we free ourselves from our negative thoughts? SPIRITUALITY UNPLUGGED: POTLUCK AND DISCUSSION! Held on the last Saturday of each month, this month it's on Saturday, September 26th. We begin dinner around 6:15pm and discussion usually begins around 7pm. You bring a favorite casserole or salad, and we provide the table service, drinks, and dessert! Last month we had an awesome time with 23 in attendance. Have something on your mind you want to talk about? Jot it down and drop it in the discussion topic bowl. The fun begins then! If weather permits, we'll hold the potluck and discussion outdoors. In case of rain, we'll be inside as usual.

Make your own delicious herbal teas for health and well being using our bulk herbs! Here's a recipe to get you started using one of the most popular herbs: Lavender. Many people do not know lavender flowers are edible.
LAVENDER MINT TEA: 4 tsp dried lavender petals 4 1/2 tsp dried mint leaves 8 cups water honey to taste
In saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Turn off heat and add herbs. Let steep for about 5 minutes. Add honey or whatever natural sweetener you prefer. (if any). Stir. Let Cool a bit and then strain into a pitcher. Serve either warm (not hot) or chilled.
Lavender taken as a tea can aid health in many ways including exhaustion, stress, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, migraines, depression, digestion, gas, upset stomach, colds, gallbladder and liver problems, loss of appetite, nervousness, and makes a great breath freshening mouthwash!
Mint taken in this way is good for the digestion, can act as a sedative to help you relax, and aids in perspiration to lower fevers. Enjoy!
