BELTAINE FESTIVAL~ Friday, May 1, 12p; Beltaine (Beltane, May Day, or Calendimaggio) is the Pagan Holiday of Mid-Spring. This grand festival of spring which is celebrated world-wide acknowledges the bloom of spring, observes the courtship and union of Pagan Deities, and honors all that lives! Come and celebrate the joy of nature in this wonderful ritual including the dance around the May Pole. Colorful clothes and comfortable shoes are suggested. Please wear a fun, comfortable face mask (covering partial face or whole face), and a small bouquet of flowers for the ritual. Bring a lawn chair and a dish of food for the feast which will be held immediately following the ritual. (Approximately 2hrs).
