Many of us in New Thought have focused so much on meditation that sometimes we forget prayer is a foundation for asking and listening to what the Universe is telling us. This course offers a non-theological, non-ritualistic guide to prayer for contemporary seekers of oneness, guidance, and self-regulation. This course, hosted by Unity Prayer Chaplain Laura Heiser and based on The Universe Is Calling by Eric Butterworth makes a dynamic combination for powerful spiritual growth and active listening. Come and be a part of this 7-week course about seeking true guidance and how to answer and receive when the universe is calling out to us. The Universe Is Calling by Eric Butterworth is a required book for this course of study.

Samhain is one of the eight annual holidays, often referred to as 'Sabbats', observed as part of the Wiccan Wheel of the Year. It is considered by most Wiccans to be the most important of the four 'greater Sabbats'. It is generally observed on October 31st in the Northern Hemisphere, starting at sundown. Samhain is considered by most Wiccans as a celebration of death and of the dead, and it often involves paying respect to ancestors, family members, elders of the faith, friends, pets and other loved ones who have died. In some rituals the spirits of the departed are invited to attend the festivities
