I am interested to see if anyone ELSE might be interested in having a discussion/study group. My main interest is "Witchcraft" HOWEVER I have TONS of interests and LOVE to hear peoples thoughts and opinions. My idea is to have no teacher and everytime we get together we can have a base topic and you can bring up whatever you wish to bring up. I'm thinking we can go for coffee or lunch OR we can do a house to house thing and everybody bring something. I'd like it to be VERY open and VERY thought provoking. An experience where ego is left at home but opinions/questions/and thoughts are the ULTIMATE accessory. Id like something where "expert" and novice alike could bring whatever you'd like to the table. I'm thinking maybe December OR January have our first "discussion" just depending how it works. IF you might be hit up this posting and lets see where it takes us. *muah* Love and Blessings To All

I'm interested, but with a 2 month old baby and working full-time, actually being able to do it could be difficult. What little time I have with my new baby....well, you get the idea. That's why I haven't made any classes in months. First I was too ill, now I just want to get to know my son. But I wouldn't mind hosting at my place. lisa

Id LOVE to hang with you!!! I am so glad you are feeling better and your getting Mommy/Baby torture time...or bonding...WELL its all the same depending on who you ask. IF your wondering about me(a stranger and yes I am strange) get the NOT so down-low about me from Peggy/Frank/Leah...they can give all the juice on me. (or my number/email) I may have one other lady friend interested...HOPEFULLY!!! And if not IF(!!) you are interested we could just get together and talk. I just like getting thoughts and having a sounding board for stuff, ya know? Looking forward to it

I too would love to do this! I haven't studied or practiced in so long that I really could use a refresher! Not to mention, it may help me to get more centered with my everyday activities!

FO RIZZLE!!!! Feel free to walk in and get my info and what not. I am SO glad to have more people interested. YAY!!! And if anyone else is interested you can do the same but post a little something here as well. PLEASE!!! In my experience people like knowing they are not the only ones interested AND all are welcome as long as your ego-free and friendly. SO yeah Case I would BE THRILLED to meet up with ya and help you polish that broomstick. I am SO glad to see some independant people who are beyond book addiction or "Priest/ess" approval, and ready to converse :-))) *smilez*

Hi Case! Just wanted to let you know next Saturday, Dec 20, Celestial Esscents is having a "Talk & Tea" discussion from 2p-3p. This is taking the place of our usual monthly potluck & discussion, which will resume in January. Anything goes, as far as topics for discussion. A diverse group usually attends so you may find this to be of interest. As for children, our space is a bit small and we've found it's usually best if this is kept to adults only. YES!!! if you anyone goes to the 'talk and tea' i HOPEFULLY will be there...they can be profoundly fun and uplifting at times. IF i can remember the time of it. LOL! i always remember these things the day of and by then i'm too lazy to attend. Now MY views on children...Honestly if whoever's house is okay with kids...i am somewhat okay with kids. MY CONCERN/QUESTION, "are the kids taking away from adult time". If its a baby that is going to goo and gah on your lap or a toddler that you can give a juice box and a toy to ...then that is totally kewl. However IF you are blessed with those "accessory kids"...the kind hanging around your neck...an extra bangle on your arm...or clinging to your leg...well then its going to cut into time to talk and learn and what not. I mean it really comes down to the host/ess and the group...but since 2/3 of witches are women and MOST women have children...there will always be a great deal of openness. thats my view...but YES I will hopefully be at the "tea and talk"...and HOPEFULLY many will be...not to mention it totally coincides with my spiritual belief system. woohoo! Looking forward to it everyone!!!

Ack! I was there today and saw Peggy and could have asked her if I'd read this first! Darn it! I will stop by or call her this week.
Don't worry Peggy, I would never consider taking Julian to a talk & tea or something like that...which is why I haven't been there as much as I used to. But I will try to make it over there more often.lisa

I recently stumbled across this website in search of a local study group (that isn't a bunch of kids waving incense around and speaking incomprehensible Latin...) It is something that I would really be interested in. My work and school schedule can be a tad chaotic, but I would love to work something out even if I'm unable to attend every meeting. I stopped by the store yesterday to check it out and it seems very relaxed which is important to me. I would love to come to the tea and talk tomorrow, but I may only be able to stop by for a short time. Is that okay? and are visitors welcome, or should I introduce myself in another way before attending events?

So I did go by the store today, and I just have to say... your store is great! Its so beautiful and calm in there. I brought my son in there to find something to help him sleep and the stone that I got worked wonders! He fell asleep in the car on the way home. We live off of exit 1 and he was asleep before we even got to the interstate. When this study group starts, please let me know! This has just confirmed for me even more that I need to get back into studying and practicing! Thank you again!

First I MUST say that I LOVE THE SHOP...BUT(!!!) I am not an employee or have an association with it other than a friend. JUST in case there is any confusion. However YES i agree with the comments it is VERY relaxing and a great place to hang at and shop. (BTW SORRY for staying SO LONG...I thought it was CLOSER to 6) Second, on the subject persay. The best thing to do is just to come to an event. Anything private is never listed on the website and for public things just RSVP for those that require it and for those that dont just walk on it. And think of it like a "Spiritual Cheers", so just walk in and own the room. Everyone knows your name and they are always glad you came. The troubles are all the same. But there is Tea instead of beer. SO yeah a "hey I'm (name here)" or you can JUMP into a conversation. Well if people are still interested in this shin-dig..then like I said either leave your info at the shop OR I shall can post the next time I am going to be in town. Peace,

Okay, so I am definitely interested. I'm in the middle of moving, so I won't be able to host a meeting or anything until the end of January or so. Anyway, my email is volatica.aquila@gmail.com I think that you should just see if you can hold a interest meeting of sorts somewhere- maybe at the shop or a coffee house or something. I could be completely informal, just some brief intros and maybe work out some logistics. Believe me! I'm all in and I'll be glad to help wherever I can!

Again, I've been away from my computer for a while. Long story, but the short of it is that I've finally had the health problems I've been having for the last several months diagnosed. Now that I'm on my way to better health, I'm feeling more able to get upstairs to my computer...and more ready for a discussion group.
